Free Online Summer Camps

For those of us who identify as more of an indoor-cat personality, here are some fun virtual and online camp opportunities that don’t cost a thing and meet up each week. Sign up to join a group, and we can explore together from wherever we are most comfortable.

These camps are designed to be accessible to a wide variety of students and children, but suggestions to make these camps more accessible are always welcome!

Fortnite Gaming Skills & Social Ongoing Club

Play on the game mode that the learners choose and get better at the game while having fun.


  • Learners will need a device to play Fortnite on whether that be PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC.
  • Just a great place to have fun and hangout with people who love the game as well.

Minecraft Coding Camp

Minecraft coding camp, kids explore Minecraft game design concepts by creating their own levels, maps, and structures and designing them for others to explore.


  • Discus the underlying mechanics of the game
  • Join a collaborative environment with teams or groups
  • Types of Minecraft classes include game design, modding, java coding, and more.

Among Us-Gaming Club

Join us in using deductive reasoning skills to figure out who is the imposter or crewmate!


  • Crewmates and imposters will have a chance to play Among Us with others from around the world!
  • Inclusive class for all children including those with different abilities.
  • Students will be encouraged to socialize and chat with other students as they play.

Play Roblox & Socialize

Players and students will play a different Roblox game each week, determined by our group vote.


  • Adopt Me, Murder Mystery, Brookhaven, Piggy and many more!
  • Inclusive class for all children including those with different abilities.
  • Students will come together with friends to play different games.

Fun with AI Art

Explore all the fun AI can do with Midjourney, DALL-E, and ChatGPT.


  • Discuss the different things that can be created with Ai tools.
  • Discover new Ai tools and share what we have already created.
  • Learn the main commands and options available and test out some fun themes.

STEAM Indy Game Camp

Explore all the free and small-time games available on STEAM.


  • Discuss the style and function of the game and text out the physics.
  • Join a collaborative environment with teams or groups or explore one at a time as part of a group walk-through and discussion.

Mario Gaming Skills & Social Club

Mario Kart Deluxe 8, Mario Maker 2, Odyssey, and Smash Bros.


  • Learners will need a Nintendo device to play.
  • We will have the opportunity to publish their obstacle courses and compete, race each course, and compete in each game as chosen by the group.
  • Nintendo Online Account is necessary to participate in online gaming.

Play Animal Crossing Together! 

Join in with other gaming friends weekly to play and socialize in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.


  • Share island updates from players who want to share
  • Play in-game special mini-games within the game (hide and seek, fishing tournaments, bug-catching events, etc.)
  • A Nintendo Online account is required to access other islands.
